AGM

The Annual General Meeting of Optometry Northern Ireland took place on Monday 13 May 2013 at the Templeton Hotel, Templepatrick.

It was well attended and delegates listened with interest to Raymond Curran speak on where Optometry is going in Northern Ireland.  Subjects touched on included glaucoma referral refinement scheme update, new cataract referral pathway and guidelines, and community acute eye health service.

Helen Knox stood down from her position as Chair and was replaced by David Barnes, who will  steer ONI for the next 3 years.  We would also like to welcome those elected to Council, including some new faces.
